The applicant to course the specialty in development of new technology based businesses should have the following profile:

• Logical-mathematical and verbal reasoning.
• Knowledge of technologies, innovation, market, strategic planning, knowledge managements, research methodology and general culture.
• Show capability of analysis and synthesis, ethic values, oral and written sufficiency to work in groups, and, spirit of cooperation.
• Interest for their personal development and discipline to generate technology based businesses.
• PC handling, basic tools to browse and communicate through internet.
• Time availability to create and fulfill activities in distance in a synchronous and asynchronous form.
• Preferably have coursed a degree related to the postgraduate.
• Have a high commitment to develop self-management processes of learning.

1. Have coursed a degree preferably related to the disciplinary area of the educational program or in alike areas to the criteria of the Admission Committee.

2. Have obtained a minimum GPA of 8.0 in their professional studies.

3. Show the record of acceptance to the program, signed by the Academic Secretary of the Division of Engineering.

4. Show, duly legalizes by the corresponding instance, original certificate of the degree studies or equivalent.

5. Must show, certified copy of the academic degree title or equivalent (when obtained). When the applicant is accepted, hasn’t obtained the academic degree or equivalent studies, but whose plan has concluded with no subjects in debt, the Academic Secretary of the Academic Division of the Division of Engineering will grant in written a peremptory time which will not exceed 8 months to obtain the academic degree.

6. Fill and deliver the official enrollment forms both online and physically.

7. Show two recommendation letters to enter the program from any of the following entities:

Educational institution where the student graduated from.

Business or organization of labor performance.

From scholars of the postgraduate of the University of Guanajuato or scholar of the degree where she/he graduated.

8. Show and deliver copy of the birth certificate.

9. If the student is foreign, must fulfill the following:

Show valid passport and FM student visa for who courses the program present.

In its case, will present, the dictum of equivalence (revalidation) of degree studies issued by the Department of Education, last process for which they have a 90 day time, starting from the date of approval to the program.

10. Prove that the fees have been covered to course the postgraduate, or any academic regularization procedure.

11. In its case, provide the relative documents to the academic situations, required by the respective academic instances.

• Identifies and proposed new technology based businesses managing the technological development of products and processes of commercial interaction in the local, regional, national and international ambiences.
• Plans solutions to technology problems related to their field of development, designing and innovating technologies and processes in a national and international regulatory framework.
• Integrates knowledges and skills that allow the graduate to handle tangible resources but specially the intangible and actively participates in inter and multidisciplinary groups to solve technological problems in the local, regional, national and global ambience.
• Develops pertinent strategies and according the different ecosystems of innovation based in the sustainability framework; which allows an impact in the region’s competitivity.

General competency: Competent specialists in the application of organizational methods and administrative strategies that allow him to establish the structure and processes to negotiate the creation of businesses with high technological component. Its influence to favor the national economy has to reach the international perspective through the design of commercialization systems be that goods or novelty services, considering the increase of the profitability and decisive advanced strategies, the human development of the workers, as well as for the care of the environment.

Preferably within the private sectors in different economic and industrial areas and services such as: food, drink, automotive, medical, metal mechanic, chemical, petrol chemical, construction, information technology, services, among others.

The program in the unschooled modality has a system of credits that allows the student to select the academic load according their time availability and work rhythm. The unschooled modality in its mix version allows to select and take learning units in distance or in presence depending on the requirement of the student considering the complexity of the same.
