Curricular competence

Form professionals with an ecological, humanistic sense, capable to apply technologies and methodologies that allow him to innovate processes, products and forms to commercialize agricultural products and byproducts with the purpose to increase the reliability of agribusiness and maintain the natural resources, incorporating human, environmental and economic factors in decision making.

Admission process

Approve the basic skills and knowledge exam (EXHCOBA) in the venues established by the admission committee. High School GPA. English location exam. For the programs in distance, it is indispensable to be working in a business in the agricultural area with at least two years working there. Cover letter. Accredit the induction course to the non-schooled system.

Entry requirements

The ones referred by the university regulation and for the foreign students, present their permission to study in Mexico, issued by the National Institute of Migration (INM).

Entry profile

The applicant for the program of the degree in Agribusiness should have the following profile: Logical-mathematical and verbal reasoning. Basic knowledge of law, economy, geography, research methodology and general culture. Show capability of analysis and synthesis, ethic values, oral and written sufficiency, willingness to work in teams and spirit of cooperation. Interest for personal development and discipline in agribusiness. Use of a personal computer, basic browsing tools and communication in the internet. Time availability to complete activities in distance in a synchronous and asynchronous form. For the applicants to take the distance modality; it is indispensable to be an active worker in agribusiness with a proven minimal two-year experience. Have coursed a general or technological baccalaureate.

Graduate profile

The profile of the professional in Agribusiness is constituted by the competencies that will allow her/him to perform in his professional career with quality, in any area. Being the global competency for this profile:
“Form professionals in agribusiness who are whole and competent with a high level of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values, with a sound domain of the theoretical principles of agribusiness that allow her/him to efficiently incorporate in companies of the agricultural branch, analysis of the processes and tasks that they will perform during their career that contribute to the social-economic development of the country with a high sense of responsibility and social sense”.

The academic and administrative procedures and requisites to graduate from the program are to have completed all the credits in the syllabus and make the University Social Service and Professional Social Service. As well as what is established in the Academic Statute of this University, in Chapter VI, Art. 62.
