Propose to the University General Council, the creation or suppression of academic programs. Approve the modification to the study programs. Propose to the Board of Directors, candidates for Director of the High School College. Propose to the School’s Director, candidates to run the schools based in the corresponding academic proposals. (Chapter X Article 34 from the Organic Law from the University of Guanajuato).

Collegiate academic bodies from the Divisions whose attributions are, among others, to issue the general guidelines for the academic functions to develop and their link with other divisions. Approve the Development Plan from the Division and hand it to the Campus Rector. Propose to the Campus University Council the creation, modification or suppression of the academic programs from the Divisions. Evaluate and approve the research lines from the Departments. Propose to the Board of Directors and Campus Rector, candidates for Division Director and Department Directors respectively.
