Rehearsals’ time and place:
Mondays to Thursdays from 18:30 to 20:30 hours, Mesón de San Antonio.
Began their presentations in November 22, 1975, founded by M. María de la Paz Lozada, with participation in the state of Guanajuato as well as other places in the country with a repertoire that covers different genre. From November 2007, the direction is in charge of M. José Francisco Martínez, and begins a process of enrichment of the musical proposal with the montage of choral plays from renaissance polyphony, works from the baroque period, classic and romanticism, from authors such as Palestrina, Juan del Encina, Antonio Vivaldi, W. A. Mozart, Franz Schubert; as well as new choral versions, songs from Agustín Lara, Consuelo Velázquez, María Grever, Jorge del Moral, Manuel M. Ponce, among others.
Among the choir’s most outstanding montages, there is the “Gloria” from Antonio Vivaldi, presented in December 2009; “Missa Brevis” in D minor from Mozart in March 2010; programs with choral versions of Mexican songs, in September 2008, 2009 and 2010. Renaissance music with harpsicord accompaniment in June 2010.

- Stage space: 10 x 10 m
- Illumination: Ambient spotlights
- Sound: 8 microphones with stand
- Others: Piano or in its case electronic piano, 24 chairs, 4 ramps (2 of 30cm tall and 2 of 60cm tall), dressing rooms near the presentation place, water.
- Necessary transport to move costumes, props and members, besides the corresponding food.
Entry requirements:
- Make a previous audition which checks for own aspects as tuning and aptitudes for the choir singing.
