Rehearsals’ time and place:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 20:00 to 22:30 hours, Mesón de San Antonio.
The “Rondalla Señorial” from the University of Guanajuato, born in October 28, 1985, in what used to be the Official High School from Guanajuato, with the double purpose to offer a college social service and extend the cultural-artistic formation through romantic music, currently it is composed by local youth, students, ex-students and workers from the University of Guanajuato and public, that together join their creativity, knowledge and musical aptitudes to develop artistic activities.
The greatest concern for the group has been to rescue themes from Mexican composers, having the task to collect songs that can adapt to their style for their interpretation; their repertoire is based in genre such as ballads, huapangos, waltz, boleros without forgetting the ranchero genre; throughout their XXV years they have attended different forums in cities from the state of Guanajuato and the country.
Technical requirements:
- Open or closed theater, plaza, patio or auditorium
- Stage space: 10 x 10 m, black or blue bottom.
- Illumination: Ambient spotlights, spotlight for the solo.
- Sound: 8 microphones, 1 wireless microphone, 1 monitor.
- Other: Dressing rooms near the presentation place, water.
- Necessary transport to move costumes, props and members, besides the corresponding food.
Entry requirements:
- Knowledge of guitar and singing
- Have taste for romantic music
